I am a 25-year-old Software Engineer with a degree in Computer Science from the New York Institute of Technology. At my current job, I design and build backend systems used by millions of people. Alongside my professional career, I have always had a passion for teaching and mentoring. During my time at The Coder School, I taught students ages 7–21 in Java and Python, guiding them from the basics all the way to advanced projects. I also regularly mentor interns and junior engineers in my current role, helping them grow their technical and problem-solving skills.
In addition to programming, I enjoy tutoring math because I know how important a strong foundation is for future success. I am comfortable teaching subjects ranging from Algebra and Geometry up through Calculus, and I make it a priority to explain concepts in a way that is clear and approachable. I understand that younger students sometimes need creative explanations, step-by-step examples, or real-world connections, and I tailor my approach so that they not only learn but also build confidence.
My teaching style is patient, encouraging, and interactive. I focus on breaking down complex topics into manageable pieces and checking for understanding along the way.
