For the past thirty five years the film industry has given me a creative platform. Having studied both Film Production and Fine Arts, I embraced the opportunity to be part of then film making community. I began my journey as a Cinematographer since I spend the prior ten years as a painter. I traveled the world making documentaries as director and cinematographer, one hundred in total. Soon after I was offered the opportunity to direct and shoot commercials. My commercials were on national TV, on a weekly basis. Feature films and TV movies became my main focus after. Mostly as cinematographer but also as producer, director and writer. I produced fifteen feature projects and a 16 episode TV series, have directed five feature films , have written ten screenplay. May screenplays were produced for Disney, HBO and The Lifetime Movie Network. Have collaborated on projects for all major studios and TV networks. My work was recognized with two Best Cinematography Awards, a Gold Telly Award, a Silver Award at the California Film Awards, Best Director Nomination at The NY City International Film Festival and a Shine Media Award. Articles about my work were published in American Cinematographer magazine, Variety and others.
I like to share my knowledge and experience with others. I have been a guest lecturer at UCLA and volunteered on film student projects as advisor.
