I am a dedicated educator with a strong background in teaching and a passion for helping students achieve their academic goals. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education with ESOL and Gifted Endorsements, as well as a Master’s degree in Reading. My academic training has given me a solid foundation in supporting students in reading comprehension, grammar, elementary math, science, and history.

Currently, I serve as the Reading and Learning Coordinator at my local university, where I work with college-age students to support their academic needs. In this role, I focus on helping students develop effective learning strategies, strengthen their reading skills, and achieve their full academic potential.

With eight years of combined teaching and tutoring experience, I have worked with students of all ages and academic levels. My experience includes:

One-on-One Tutoring: I provide personalized instruction tailored to each student’s unique needs and learning styles.
Group Settings: I have led group learning sessions, particularly in reading, fostering collaboration and peer engagement.
Classroom Teaching: I have taught in formal classroom settings, designing interactive lessons and using diverse teaching strategies to engage students.
My teaching approach is student-centered and emphasizes critical thinking, relatable examples, and active participation. I adapt my methods to align with each student’s goals, ensuring a supportive and effective learning experience.

I have had the privilege of working with students ranging from elementary to college levels, helping them build confidence and develop skills for long-term success. My goal is to inspire a love for learning and provide students with the tools they need to thrive academically and beyond.
