Hello! I’m Brianna, and I am passionate about making mathematics engaging and accessible for all students. With a Bachelor's degree in Statistics from United International College-Florida and several certifications in statistical analysis, I have a solid academic foundation in various mathematical disciplines. Over the past three years, I have been tutoring and teaching mathematics, including Algebra 1 and 2, Calculus, Statistics, and Probability, at Broward University. I have worked part-time for around 10 hours a week, helping students grasp complex concepts through personalized and interactive learning methods.
My approach to tutoring is grounded in creating a supportive and stimulating environment where students feel comfortable exploring new ideas and asking questions. I believe that understanding the underlying principles of mathematics is crucial for students to succeed, rather than just memorizing formulas and procedures. To this end, I use real-world examples and practical applications to illustrate abstract concepts, making them more relatable and easier to understand.
In my teaching experience, I have had the pleasure of working with diverse groups of students, from those who needed a bit of extra help to those who sought to excel beyond their current curriculum. I adapt my methods to meet each student’s unique learning style and pace, ensuring they not only improve their grades but also develop a genuine interest in mathematics.
