Hi, I am Nathally! I am a current college student at Florida International University. I am currently working on my bachelor's degree in biology, and I hope to go into medical school to become a pediatrician. I became a tutor to help other students in subjects they are struggling with as when I was younger I did not have access to receive help. While in high school, I realized the classes I was taking were not enjoyable due to the topics but due to the teachers' engagement with their students. These professors have inspired me to add this knowledge to my tutoring style. I use lesson plans in which I usually introduce topics in a fun and creative way. I also create these lesson plans based on what they already know and what they are struggling with. Afterward, I like to ensure time for students to practice the material on their own. These methods of course are adjusted based on the subject and student’s individual needs.
I have a year of tutoring experience in elementary math and English. I have tutored kids in Kindergarten to 5th grade. I would make sure they do not fall behind in their classes. I am open to tutoring elementary science and more! I want to benefit the students I work with as much as possible.
