Nikolas Hernandez is a third-year medical student at Dartmouth's Geisel School of Medicine with a B.S. in Applied Mathematics, specializing in algebraic mathematics and stochastic calculus, and three years of experience tutoring Algebra 1 & 2 and SAT Math. His academic work has taken him to national conferences including the American Academy of Dermatology, Pediatric Academic Societies, and the Society for Investigative Dermatology, with several papers published and in review.
He scored a 1500 on the SAT, 34 on the ACT, 512 on the MCAT with a perfect CARS score (132/132), and 5s on both AP Calculus AB and BC. He worked as an independent tutor in Miami, FL for 2-years before seeking employment at a Huntington Learning Center in Kendall, FL. Since moving to the Upper Valley, he has also worked at a Kumon Learning Center and is familiar with both philosophies of teaching.
Sessions are 1-on-1, focused on content mastery and test strategy, and are tailered to the students' needs. A great fit as well for students interested in medicine — Nikolas is happy to offer guidance on the med school application process or the pre-medical journey alongside academics.
