Hello everyone! My name is Tyler and I am a data analyst and graduate student from Sebastian, Florida. I remember filling out my Common Application for college when I was 17 and had to answer that question we all get asked: what do you want to be when you grow up? Amongst many other things in my essay, it all boiled down to this: I wrote that I wanted to use numbers and help people. At the time, I was not really sure what that statement meant, but I quickly figured out that I can mesh the two together through tutoring. I love to tutor because I enjoy having a personalized setting where I can help other students succeed.
I have now been a tutor in various subjects for over eight years. In college, I tutored the majority of math classes offered at my school, as well as topics in economics, business, political science, and resume writing. I worked both for my school's tutoring center, as well as another online platform, so I have experience tutoring in a multitude of settings.
I graduated from Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida, in 2021 having double majored in Mathematics and Public Policy, with a minor in data analytics. I then continued at Rollins and finished my MBA in May of 2023, in which I also finished at the top of my class with a 4.0 GPA. During my time there, I played for the men's soccer team and was captain in my final year when we went to the Elite Eight of the NCAA Tournament. Since Rollins, I have begun my Master's Degree in Data Science at John's Hopkins University online while beginning my career as a data analyst for Radiologist Imaging Associates. I firmly believe that my educational and professional background makes me very prepared to help you in your mathematics classes and to provide you with the necessary support to meet your learning goals!
