Nursing Professor/Specialist for Pharmacology, Med-Surge, and Peds

Hello Students! My name is Matthew, and I am a 30-year-old nursing school instructor down in South Florida. For the past 4 years, I have been engaged in the specialty of academia where I have directly worked with nursing students and there journey to becoming a nurse. I received my Bachelors in Nursing (BSN) from Florida International University, graduating with a 3.85 GPA. Following 5 years as a registered nurse (RN), I returned to receive my Family practice Nurse Practitioner (FNP) where I graduated in 2020 (with a 3.95 GPA). I have clinical experience in emergency/trauma for the pediatric specialty and adult ICU/Med-surge specialties.

In my current area of occupation, I work directly with students 1:1 and have an engaging technique for tutoring. Having experience in both lecturing the content and tutoring the content, I have great experience with teaching the content to the student nurse. I have experience in formulating and creating nursing style questions at the collegiate level, giving myself the ability to create nursing style study materials for you during your session. I have taught in the classroom setting for 4 years (ranging from 20 students to 125 class census) specifically in Pharmacology, pediatrics, and Medical Surgical nursing. In addition, I create youtube content for the students to assist in incorporating visual aspects into the study regimen of the student nurse.
