Are you struggling to make sense of complex electrical systems? Whether you’re an engineering student grappling with power theory or an apprentice trying to master the NEC, I am here to help you move past the frustration.

I bring over 35 plus years of field and academic experience to your studies. From my early days in military shipboard power systems to my career as a certified General Electrician and international technical representative, I have seen how theory plays out in the real world. I am currently completing my Master’s in Electrical Engineering (Power Systems) and preparing for my EIT licensure, so I know exactly what it takes to master both the exams and the application.

Why work with me?
The “Field Perspective”: I don’t just teach from the textbook. I show you how these components work in practice, turning “confusing” concepts into intuitive ones.

Structured Preparation:
I don’t show up unprepared. I would like a brief overview of your specific challenges before our session so we can hit the ground running.

Results-Driven:
My goal is to ensure you don’t just pass the test, but actually understand the system.

How to get started:
I am a firm believer in high-quality, focused instruction. To give you the best results, I review your materials before our appointment. If you are looking for long-term mastery, I am the advisor you need.

Note:
All appointments are first-come, first-served, and with the existing students I am working with, we can fit you in without disrupting their sessions.

Due to my commitment to thorough preparation for every student, I do not offer “emergency” or “immediate” last-minute tutoring. I am looking for students who are ready to plan for their success.

Ready to stop guessing and start understanding? Reach out, and let’s schedule your first session.

IBEW/ Electrician

I completed the California General Electrician Certification exam in 2008 while working on several projects ever since as a freelance troubleshooter in motor control systems. After my tour of duty, I completed civilian apprenticeships by examination and practical factors while completing distributorship apparatus certifications and multiple manufacturer factory certification training programs from engine manufacturers, including challenging the book two journeyman exam to be placed on the on call list after working internationally as a technical representative from 1993 through 2006. Since 2007, I completed the state exam combined with renewing the training records at each interval where I have worked as a certified general electrician, expert witness, freelance troubleshooter, and consultant. Furthermore, in backup and emergency power systems there are apparatus referred to as manual and automatic transfer switches which by design are motor control systems that take the backup power to then switch and power up the facility or building in question. I have been directly involved with commissioning these systems, removal and replacement, testing, maintenance and adjusting these apparatus since 1993 to current date
