Hi,
I have been training others in the field of shipboard power systems during my time in the military through requirements and the processes known as cross training since the late 1980s. After my tour of duty, I completed civilian apprenticeships by examination and practical factors while completing distributorship apparatus certifications and multiple manufacturer factory certification training programs from engine manufacturers, including challenging the book two journeyman exam to be placed on the on call list after working internationally as a technical representative from 1993 through 2006. Since 2007, I completed the state exam and worked as a certified general electrician, expert witness, freelance troubleshooter, and consultant. I am working toward my Bachelor's and Master's Combined Electrical Engineering degree in Power Systems. I am currently focused on the Engineer In Training (EIT) license exam and have worked as a university tutor for the past few years. My time in the field has helped students to take the field experience perspective I have and provide it to others so they may understand how these systems operate for the student who finds electrical engineering or electrical systems confusing and sometimes frustrating.

Since we have never met, I would like to talk with you and will respond within 24 hours due to my academic load this semester. Kindly schedule your appointment four or more days in advance, send the photos of the questions you would like to evaluate, and let's have a phone call to discuss the specifics and confirm your objectives. I look forward to working with you. Once we sort out the specific issue of confusion, I spend time evaluating the question(s) before the appointment. I always plan in advance of the confirmed appointment time to prepare for your session and would ask that you would be kind enough to plan to master the material. If you need someone immediately, I may not be able to assist; however, I will respond once I receive your message.

Sincerely,
Joe

IBEW/ Electrician

I completed the California General Electrician Certification exam in 2008 while working on several projects ever since as a freelance troubleshooter in motor control systems. Since 2007, I completed the state exam combined with renewing the training records at each interval where I have worked as a certified general electrician, expert witness, freelance troubleshooter, and consultant. Furthermore, in backup and emergency power systems there are apparatus referred to as manual and automatic transfer switches which by design are motor control systems that take the backup power to then switch and power up the facility or building in question. I have been directly involved with commissioning these systems, removal and replacement, testing, maintenance and adjusting these apparatus since 1993 to current date
