Hi! My name is Charity! I have always believed that every child is capable of growth when they are given the right tools, the right support, and someone who genuinely believes in them. That belief has guided me throughout my eight years as a classroom teacher in Florida, where I have had the privilege of teaching 5th grade math, 5th grade science, and 6th grade math. Over the years, I’ve worked with students of all backgrounds, learning styles, and confidence levels, and I’ve learned that the most meaningful progress happens when we meet students where they are and build confidence.
I am a certified teacher in Elementary Education, ESOL, Reading K-12, and Middle Grades Mathematics (6-8). Whether I am supporting a struggling reader, guiding a student through multi-step math problems, or helping a learner rebuild confidence after a difficult school year, I approach every session with encouragement, structure, and a commitment to meeting students exactly where they are.
My teaching style is rooted in connection and clarity. I take time to understand how each student thinks, what motivates them, and where they may be getting stuck. From there, I break down concepts into manageable steps, use real-world examples, and celebrate progress, big or small. I believe learning should feel empowering, not overwhelming, and I work hard to create an environment where students feel safe to ask questions, make mistakes, and grow.
