I'm Lucie, a native French speaker from Paris with over 25 years of living and teaching across France, Quebec, and the USA.

I hold a Master's-level degree and formal teaching training, including a supervised classroom internship and two years as a substitute teacher in Quebec. I have also worked as a professional trainer for adults in academic and private companies.

As a dedicated French educator and a parent of successful IB (International Baccalaureate) graduates, I have a deep, personal understanding of what it takes to achieve academic excellence. Having guided my own children through the rigors of the IB French curriculum, I know the roadmap to success from the inside out. I don’t just teach the language; I teach the study habits and confidence needed to master complex grammar and literature.

How I Work with Different Ages:

For Young Learners (Ages 7-12): I focus on "learning by doing." We use interactive games, visual aids, and storytelling to build a natural ear for the language. My goal is to make French the highlight of their week!

For Middle & High School Students: I specialize in bridge-building. We tackle those tricky verb conjugations, expand academic vocabulary, and master essay writing. I bring the same patience and goal-oriented focus that helped my own family succeed in advanced programs.

For Adults & Professionals: Our sessions are goal-oriented. Whether you want to master "Travel French," improve your business communication, or simply dive into French literature, we focus on high-frequency conversation and real-world usage.
