I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Maryland, College Park, and I am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Software Engineering at the University of Maryland Global Campus. My career spanned more than forty years with IBM and Lockheed Martin, where I worked in systems and software engineering, research, and program management for both defense and commercial projects. This experience gave me a deep understanding of how math, science, and computing concepts are applied to real-world problem solving.

Throughout my professional journey, I frequently mentored and trained junior engineers and interns, helping them develop technical and analytical skills. I take pride in making complex topics understandable by breaking them down into logical, relatable steps. My teaching style emphasizes clarity, problem solving, and connecting abstract concepts to practical applications — an approach that helps students build confidence and long-term mastery.

Now retired from industry, I am excited to dedicate my time to tutoring high school students in math, computer science, and general science. I understand that each student learns differently, and I strive to adapt my explanations to match their individual learning style. My goal is to help students not only improve their grades but also gain an appreciation for the power and beauty of technology and analytical thinking.
