"Drumming With Soule" is my personal mission to share a passion of mine, which is playing the drums. I have been a drum enthusiast / rhymatist for nearly 40 years, and feel blessed to be able to extend my abilities in a learning environment, reflecting my musical progression, my drumming influences and inspirations. I emphasize the importance of essential fundamentals applied to drum set technique: rudimentary exercises; hand and foot independence as well as limb coordination; artistic expression through creative patterns and grooves; and as an end result, playing along with “favorite” songs. I have had the privilege of teaching 11 students since June 2008, students ranging in age from 9 years old through their 40s, and each student has represented a unique and rewarding experience. Possessing extremely high family values, I conduct myself in a professional manner, generating an immediate sense of comfort and trust - especially as I introduce myself and prepare to provide lessons within a student's home. I feel blessed to share my drumming knowledge, and look forward to expanding my drum circle with each new opportunity to teach, exchange and grow. Thank you for your consideration!
