Hello everyone, I am Robert. I am currently finishing on my Ph.D. in particle physics at FSU, and have worked on the Large Hadron Collider experiment for the last 6 years. In that time I have worked with some of the best physicists in the world whose insight into the world is unparalleled. Working with these amazing people has allowed me to develop a command of physics material at all levels.
While doing research, I also worked as a teaching assistant for physics classes ranging from intro mechanics to graduate dynamics. As a TA, I have individually overseen 30-person lab sections and worked one on one with students to help them understand college level physics both in theory and in practice. During this time I developed hands on experience setting up laboratory equipment, running a classroom, and organizing lesson plans. I have also worked directly with students during office hours or by appointment for extended sessions.
I firmly believe in the idea that no two students will learn material the same way. It's with this in mind that I try to understand the material from many perspectives and approaches, as to find the best method for each person's success. I have a deep love for both math and science and it is always an amazing experience to help others appreciate these subjects the way I do.
