Although I have a Business and Corporate world background, teaching has a unique appeal to me. What I have learned as a professional in the past 35 years lends itself to enhancing the repertoire and skill sets of my students. I have also traveled extensively throughout the world and have a keen and accommodative flair for understanding and relating to different cultures, norms, practices, religions, and geographies, which, in and of itself allows me to relate to a variety of personal human styles in an effective manner.
I am open, accommodative, empathetic and understanding of the unique learning needs and styles of a wide variety of students of all ages. Learning is a lifelong endeavor - a value I impart and instill in all I have the privilege to meet and work with.
I went to Nursing school (in addition to having an MBA) for my sheer curiosity about the human form. Add to that the physiology of the various organ systems and "Fascinating" becomes an understatement.
Needless to say I aced my classes in the field.
I remember taking TOEFL coming to the US University (Indiana) from a non English speaking foreign country. Forty years have gone by since. My bosses in the United States always chose me to do all the writings for all purposes (internal and external executive communications, presentations, policies and procedures, analyses etc.)
