My name is Jack, and I bring over a decade of tutoring and teaching experience across academic, professional, and technical fields. I hold a Master’s degree in Science with a focus on Technical Design, a Bachelor’s degree in Game Design, and a CompTIA Security+ certification. Prior to entering the video game industry, I served in the United States Air Force as a Cybersecurity specialist, where I was responsible for training and mentoring new recruits in our career field. That experience honed my ability to teach complex technical topics in a clear, structured way while adapting to different learning styles.

Throughout my career I have tutored students ranging from high school to college, as well as adults in professional and military contexts. I have supported learners in core academic subjects such as Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Algebra, Geometry, and History, while also providing guidance in specialized areas like Cybersecurity, programming, and game development. Whether in a one-on-one setting, classroom environment, or on-the-job training, I focus on building problem-solving skills rather than simply providing answers. This approach enables students to grow their confidence and independence as learners.

Having lived abroad for nearly a decade, I bring a global perspective to my teaching and an appreciation for diverse educational backgrounds. I strive to create a supportive environment where students can ask questions freely, work through challenges, and develop lasting skills that extend beyond a single assignment or test. My goal is to not only help students succeed academically but also equip them with the tools to think critically and tackle problems effectively in any area of life.
