Greetings! I have had a love for teaching ever since I was a kid in elementary school pretending to have my own classroom set up in my basement in New York. Greetings! I have had a love for teaching ever since I was a kid in elementary school pretending to have my own classroom set up in my basement in New York. Ever since then, I have had an interest in teaching kids and adults any way I can. After receiving my degree in Photography and Art History, I went to another college to obtain my certification to teach Art to Kindergartners all the way up to 12th grade, With a lot of studying and hard work, I was successful in becoming certified to teach this subject.
It was my ultimate dream to live in a tropical climate and teach, so I moved to Florida 12 years ago and began teaching Art at an elementary school for 11 years. I loved to teach art, and because art draws inspiration from all subjects, I had a chance to incorporate math, reading, writing, history, and science in my curriculum! This unique blend of subjects makes me ready to tutor you in mostly anything. I hope to meet you and help you on your road to success!
I love to write, read, and use proper grammar. Vocabulary is important to crafting a compelling written expression, and I will help you learn and retain varied vocabulary.
If you are looking for a tutor that thinks "outside of the box" and uses both her left and right brain, as well as different modes of teaching, ranging from visual, auditory and kinesthetic, I hope you contact me to work with you!
