I am an experienced educator and organizational development professional with a background spanning K–12 education, adult learning, business, and leadership development. I hold a Master of Science in Elementary Education, a Master of Science in Instructional Design, and a Doctor of Business Administration in Leadership and Organizational Development. I am also an ICF-certified coach.
My career began in education, where I gained experience teaching and supporting school-age learners. My education and teaching background provided training in curriculum, differentiated instruction, assessment, and adapting instruction to individual learning needs. I use a patient, encouraging approach and break difficult concepts into manageable steps to help students build both understanding and confidence. I can support elementary, middle, and high school students with academic skills, writing, study strategies, organization, and learning support.
I also have 10+ years of professional experience in organizational development, leadership development, instructional design, coaching, and business. I have designed and facilitated learning for employees and leaders in organizations of 3,000 to 11,000+ employees. My areas of expertise include leadership, management, organizational behavior, human resources, employee engagement, change management, talent management, business communication, and team effectiveness.
I also support college and graduate students with business and leadership subjects, research concepts, APA-style academic writing, presentations, and organizing and strengthening their own work.
My tutoring approach is individualized and practical. I identify where a learner is struggling, explain concepts clearly, use examples and guided practice, and adapt my approach to how each student learns best. My goal is to build understanding, independence, and confidence.
