As we know, everyone is different and students learn in different ways. It's my firm belief that as a teacher you have to find out how the student learns and take it from there. No, it's not asking your student, some don't even know themselves. It's submitting them to a variety of ways in which they can learn about the same concept. Based on their success they will understand what works for them and you as their tutor will also find out. This of course will help you both.
I consider myself more than capable of giving my students that extra help that will be the little push they need for success. Everyone is capable of learning, we just need to learn how. If some of the topics are not our strongest topic, we can still be successful.
