Hello All,

My name is Priscilla and I am passionate about teaching. I currently hold over 10 years experience working with young people, I am certified in teaching English as a foreign language, and in addition, have experience teaching teenagers who have been in the juvenile system and dropped out of school. I have worked as a pre-school teacher, specifically dealing with those who had learning challenges. My professional background lies in youth work and journalism. I enjoy the written word, the spoken word and just seeing how words can come together to create a wonderful picture in one's mind.

I love many things about tutoring, among them, seeing the smile on someone's face when they finally understand what they are supposed to do, hearing them telling me about how happy they are when they get excellent grades, and just the overall feeling of satisfaction that you get from merely helping someone. I love assisting people get one step closer to achieving their goals. My desire to teach arose from having great teachers throughout my academic life, and seeing their enthusiasm and dedication instilled a great sense of pride within me, and served as motivation for me to instill pride in other people. I have a TEFL certification, love to write poetry, drama and songs, and am currently finalizing my manuscript.
