Hello! My name is Lauren R. and I live in Lake Wales, FL. I have my BA in History from University of Maryland, Baltimore County. I completed all of the assigned college courses and half of my internship to finish my Maryland teaching certification, but unfortunately had to move states before ultimately finishing.
I have lots of experience working with students and teaching. I have been helping with homework while babysitting for 10+ years and have worked as a paraeducator and substitute in multiple different schools in Maryland and Ohio. My experience is with grades K-5, but I have no problem tutoring middle and high school as well!
History is truly my passion, I have studied it independently for fun since I was a young child. I took as many history courses as I could in high school- and repeatedly set the curve for the class with my good grades. More importantly, I graduated with honors with a BA in History from University of Maryland, Baltimore County.
Now that I'm settled in Florida I'm trying to expand my horizons and try formal tutoring. I'm friendly, kind, respectful, and patient. I love to help people and see others succeed. I am available to tutor online or M-TH 8am-4pm.
