I am always willing to set up a free, no cost first discussion session to see where you are at and how we can work together!

I thoroughly enjoy teaching in a manner that the student can readily relate to and grasp the concepts. In short, I am very patient and will simplify it!

I love teaching beginners in Accounting, Pre Algebra and Algebra. If you learn and UNDERSTAND the basics, the rest will become easy.

Approved Subjects

Algebra 1

Algebra 1

As a CPA and Professor, I spent years teaching students how simplify algebraic concepts and tricks to quick solutions. Memorizing is not learning, understanding is.
Elementary Math

Elementary Math

Undergraduate math. Tutored Elementary Math, Pre Algebra, Algebra and Geometry for many years. I am very patient and believe in positive reinforcement. I will approach the problem in many ways until the “lightbulb” comes on for the student. The key is getting students to actually understand the why and not memorize the how. Another key is to find ways to relate problems to areas that the student is interested in so they see the “practicality” of the problems(s).
Prealgebra

Prealgebra

Bachelor of Science Math & Finance. MBA/CPA/CFE Over 20 years of teaching experience in math courses Elementary/High School/College levels. I truly enjoy teaching Algebra at the secondary level.😊

Tax Accounting

Bruce helped me prepare for my tax exam coming up as we went over computing line items on a Schedule 1 among other topics. I was happy that Bruce wanted to not waste any time and go over the time in an efficient and effective manner. We have another lesson before my exam.

Motivating

Bruce was an excellent tutor! He helped me with the case and understood it, without me having to explain very much. He was helpful through the whole assignment and guided me to understanding the theories and concepts. He set the pace for the whole lesson, and motivated me in my subject!
