Over the past 10 years I have expanded my one-on-one tutoring and I have found great joy in working with students in this capacity. Helping students find success and confidence in math is one of my greatest joys. Often students just need to fill in some gaps in their learning to be successful in math and having the opportunity to work with a tutor is what can help them get to their highest potential.
Using different methods for teaching from manipulatives, online platforms and old fashioned pencil and paper will allow for the greatest success. I'm not afraid to try different methods to find what works best for each individual I am working with. It is important to find what works best for each student, no two learners are exactly the same.
