I have been a substitute teacher in the Florida (Osceola County) and Kansas (Shawnee County) school systems. Since retirement from my full-time job as a computer programmer in 2010, I have been tutoring K-12, college and adult students.

patient
She was very patient with my son who has a very negative attitude towards school. I appreciate her time and effort given as well as her extra learning materials given.
Shakira, 1 lesson with WandaTutor responded:I pray that he has changed his attitude and become more positive. I remember having a teacher that the whole class disliked. She had been our 4th grade teacher and we were glad to leave her class but then she got reassigned as our5th grade teacher the next year, and it was devastating. Life sometimes throws us a curve ball, but we can still adjust and hit a homerun.
Perfect teacher.
My son loves her way of teaching. She is an awesome lady. She met twice with my second grader son and helped him understand some concepts on reading and writing. Wanda has what teacher needs to be qualified to teach in schools.

I was recently told my child was having trouble in reading. I contacted Wanda and spoke to Her who was very friendly and helpful! I immediately set an appointment for a the same week. We sat down and discussed my child’s plan and goal once she begins and I am very pleased so far with Wanda

My 13 year old loves her so I know she is patient.
Wanda is a very knowledgeable, kind, and down to earth teacher with patience while teaching her passions. She drove 40 or so minutes in traffic to reach us. Whenever my daughter felt stumped she would show her different ways until she finally got it. She's a God send. I already booked her for next week, I am very grateful to have found her.
Titania, 2 lessons with WandaTutor responded:I definitely enjoyed working with your daughter. Regretfully, the pandemic caused us to cut her lessons short but I'm hopeful that she has been able to successfully strive for the mastery of the mysteries of math.
