Hello! My name is Justin. I am a graduate of the communication sciences and disorders Bachelor of Science program at the University of Central Florida (Go Knights!).

My mantra both in and out of the treatment room is to meet my clients where they are at—how can I make the lessons I provide relevant to you or your child's life? How can I bolster performance in ALL subjects? A typical lesson plan includes addressing the immediate concern as well as incorporating necessary foundational skills to ensure not only comprehension of the correct answer/target, but also to provide consistency, and give my clients the tools they need to be reliable, self-sufficient early learners.

My lessons are designed for early/emerging learners (before age 10) who have difficulties with reading comprehension, challenges with language arts, and/or issues with phonics/spelling/decoding. I am a current speech-language therapist who will be attending a graduate program for speech-language pathology in 2026.

“It is not our differences that divide us. It is our inability to celebrate those differences.” –Audre Lorde

Creative Writing

Creative Writing

My name, is associated with both contemporary works of poetry and my own poetry book, entitled 'MASOCHISM' (2021). I studied at a magnet school for creative writing prior to my enrollment as a speech-language pathology student, and am currently working on another book of poetry with a press in the Orlando, Florida area. Notable works include those published by Scholastic Foundation. Get Lit: Words Ignite, and Page 15.
Special Needs

Special Needs

I have over 3 years of working with both children and adults with a variety of special needs, such as ASD, ADHD, ODD, Aphasia, Apraxia, Dyslexia, and more. It is a skill I have fostered through hours of on-the-job training as a speech-language pathologist assistant, as well as in my endeavors in the research labs at my alma mater. I have developed interpersonal skills backed by evidence-based research and best practice that allow me to devote more time to understanding unique family dynamics and situations and seeing where further intervention/ support is necessary.
