I started my journey in education eight years ago as I transitioned from an old occupation into teaching. I've been working in the School District of Osceola County my entire career. In that time, I've taught sophomore English, Journalism, Newspaper, Public Speaking and Middle School Reading and English.
I currently work at the Osceola School for the Arts, an audition-only school in Osceola County that takes the highest quality academic and artistic students. Last year, teaching 8th grade English, I achieved am 89% pass rate on the FAST ELA exam. As a former Journalism teacher, I certified many students in Adobe programs, such as Photoshop, Premiere Pro and Illustrator.
My teaching style has always been very unique, but that's because I know that every student is different and they learn in different ways. I have a very easy-going approach to teaching, but my students know that I will challenge them as well. That combination has lead to positive results in my career. I look forward to helping anyone who is in need of making that extra push in order to accomplish their goals.
