I've always had a lifelong love for learning. I'm an MIT graduate and recently finished my Master’s degree in Integrative-Biology and Neuroscience with the joint Max Planck Florida Institute for Neuroscience / Florida Atlantic University IMPRS program. I have diverse academic and teaching experiences with psychology and neuroscience,
ranging from consulting and lab management, to scientific writing and presentation, to performing experimental techniques and support or independent research and project design. My education also includes a significant background in various STEM fields including advanced mathematics, biology, chemistry, and physics. I’ve taught these subjects as a student TA, official mentor, and independent tutor for 10+ years, both to different levels of students and to fellow scientific researchers. Be it middle-schoolers or working professionals, I relish the opportunity to share knowledge and a passion for asking questions. I believe education plays a vital role
in crafting the environments and people that will facilitate the asking and answering of difficult questions and lead to contributions that can benefit the world at large. Ever since my formative high school years - when a particularly effective chemistry teacher taught me the importance of needing to deeply understand processes before they can be changed or properly utilized - I’ve valued context and comprehension as the most important problem-solving tools a person can have.

Career Development

Career Development

I have 10+ years tutoring, teaching, and otherwise guiding students of various backgrounds, and both college preparation and non-college career consulting are parts of that. From fashion students, to historians, to those interested in STEM subjects, I've helped many students prepare for and make it through college applications, and they consistently get accepted into their top schools, including Ivy Leagues. I've also acted as a counselor and mentor for students already in college - my time as an officer for MIT's undergraduate neuroscience department, for example, included responsibilities such as hosting students for shadowing opportunities and organizing talks and workshops for job fairs, networking, and career searching and preparation. Outside of college and academics, I've also consulted for various organizations including a startup made of independent game developers, a professional acapella music group, and a care association for Alzheimer's patients.

In addition to my experience below, I recently acquired my Palm Beach County Statement of Eligibility Teaching certificate, qualifying my for substituting and teaching in schools according to Common Core guidelines. I have 10+ years tutoring, teaching, and otherwise guiding students of various backgrounds, including ensuring common core understanding up through high school. From fashion students, to historians, to those interested in STEM subjects, I've helped many students prepare for and make it through college preparation as they reach the end of common core curriculum, and they consistently get accepted into their top schools, including Ivy Leagues. I've also acted as a counselor and mentor for students from middle school to those already in college - my time as an officer for MIT's undergraduate neuroscience department, for example, included responsibilities such as hosting students for shadowing opportunities and organizing talks and workshops on college life and readiness.
Computer Gaming

Computer Gaming

With the MIT Game Lab, I've led small, independent teams in different “Game Jam” type events. These ranged from time-constrained weekend-long challenges to multi-week classes; collaborating to design concise, experimental video game concepts within short development cycles. I've also been a consultant and design associate for the development of a virtual reality game that was officially published and greenlit on Steam, entirely with a student-created team.
Dyslexia

I also have experience working directly with parents and students who desire homeschooling or other alternative methods of pre-collegiate education. This includes working with neurodivergent individuals who have struggled with traditional classrooms in the past, or those who are gifted and understimulated by such environments. I also recently acquired my official statement of eligibility teaching certification.
Logic

Logic
