Rehabilitation Therapist with Art, Photography and Graphics Experience

Hi, I'm Suzanne. I have an Associates degree in Occupational Therapy and a Bachelors degree in Graphic Design with a minor in Marketing. I have additional education in life coaching, massage, energy work, and training animals. I know that's a strange combination of interests but I am a curious person.

As an Occupational Therapy Assistant I've worked in schools, rehab centers, psychiatric centers, and geriatric facilities with people from the age of 3 to 104. I tend to enjoy working with people (and animals) who feel misunderstood, or feel like an underdog. I have also been an Instructor for Massage Therapists, highlighting theory and business practices as well as hands-on techniques.

I thoroughly enjoy learning as well as teaching and I hope I might be of assistance to you. I look forward to meeting you!

I've taken Anatomy classes for my Occupational Therapy degree and for my licenses in Massage Therapy. Then I had to repeat it for each state license.

I speak English fluently and I enjoyed my own English and grammar lessons while in school.

As an Occupational Therapy Assistant I teach students to use their writing implements correctly so their fine motor coordination improves. My penmanship is complimented often, and I'm a calligrapher.

I started painting as a child and I haven't stopped. I've worked with watercolors, oils, acrylics, and combined paints and 3-D objects. It's my passion.

As a Graphic Designer and Photographer, I learned Photoshop and I use it frequently. I've used most of the Adobe products, some extensively. I am familiar with Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Flash, Fireworks, Premiere and InDesign. Some of my knowledge is from years ago. I am Mac based, but am able to use PCs as well.
