Hi, I'm Furio! I'm here to help anyone tackling college-level math and computing courses. I specialize in college algebra, stats, intro programming (C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, Python, SQL, HTML, CSS, etc.), discrete math, data structures, and algorithms.

I work hard to teach these topics, which I think are pretty fun, in approachable ways. I have mastered these fundamental skills, taught them to others, and applied them to real products. I teach by doing - connecting the new concept to what's already known, then working through targeted examples until fluency.

I graduated summa cum laude with a double major in Computer Science and Mathematics from the University of North Florida, and I'm a freelance software developer and consultant. I have 9 months of professional experience in a data analytics role working with Java and Python, and I've been accepted into a Math master's program for Fall.

Through my university, I have one semester's experience tutoring Calc-based Physics I, and two tutoring Programming I in C. These were large sessions of 20-30 students from many majors, where they would solve problems I prepared and receive one-on-one support as needed.

In college, I led the competitive programming club and placed highly in local and regional competitions. I worked hard to turn newcomers into competitors, and I carry that same mentality to tutoring.
