I am a Florida certified K - 6 teacher with 17 years of classroom experience in the Florida Public Schools System. My experience includes teaching Autistic Pre-K through grade level 6.

The majority of my classroom time has been spent in grades 2 - 6, concentrating in the subject areas of reading comprehension, vocabulary development, English grammar, and the structure and composition of essay writing. I was invited to participate in the reading moon shot program and the after school intensive reading instruction program. Currently, I am mentoring a first year teacher in the design, delivery, and assessment of her ELA curriculum.

I possess the ability to design and deliver lessons to meet a student's specific needs and learning style. My emphasis is on encouragement and positive reinforcement.
