Hey there, my name is Sean! Thank you for visiting my profile. I take an individualized approach, prioritizing each person’s unique learning style and needs. As somebody with ADHD, I struggled greatly in many courses. Frequenting office hours weekly and pursuing tutor relationships empowered me with a determined mindset and newfound learning skills, culminating in the delivery of highest quality, helpful tutoring for students. In providing each person with individualized, relevant tutoring, I am sure to assess each student’s strengths and weaknesses, providing constructive feedback, improving their understanding and grasp of the material. The evidence shows significant improvement in my students’ learning, knowledge, and scores. The process behind learning matters just as much or potentially even more than the acquired knowledge itself. In that, I mean that I want to help prepare my students for success in all courses throughout their academic careers by equipping them with effective study skills and learning strategies.

Back in 2018, I graduated cum laude from UCLA with a B.A. in Political Science (International Relations focus) and a B.S. in Psychobiology. Studying and learning such complex topics at a prestigious university, alongside highly motivated and studious people, inspired me to help others achieve success in academia. To be honest, over the years, I have found myself tutoring friends for free because I want to help others succeed. Fortunately, I had the privilege of taking many high-level, challenging STEM courses such as AP courses in high school and college courses + premedical requisites for attending medical school. Thus, I am equipped with a breadth of knowledge, allowing me to effectively help students with a wide range of content and topics.

Thank you for considering me to be your tutor! I am happy to help you succeed in your academic career. My rates can be modified, especially according to the level of subject with which you require help.
