I'm a bilingual Science Lead Teacher at a Jacksonville high school, where I teach Biology and Environmental Science, and I hold a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences and a Master of Science in Psychology from Keiser University. My science background runs deep, from genetics and biochemistry to anatomy and physiology, and my graduate work in psychology trained me in how students actually learn, remember, and stay motivated. That combination shapes everything I do as a tutor: I don't just explain the content, I teach it the way your brain wants to receive it.
For the past two years I have taught high school students in both whole-classroom and one-on-one settings, and much of my daily work involves differentiating instruction for students with IEP and 504 plans as well as English learners. My approach is simple and structured. I start by finding exactly where the confusion lives, then I rebuild the concept step by step using visuals, real-world examples, and checks for understanding along the way. I tutor biology, chemistry, anatomy and physiology, and environmental science, and I can work with students in English, Spanish, or a mix of both, which is a lifeline for bilingual families.
Parents tell me their kids leave my sessions saying science finally makes sense, and that is the whole goal. Whether your student needs homework support, test preparation, or a full rebuild of their foundation, I will meet them where they are and move them forward with patience and a clear plan.
