Hi there, I'm Quinlan, and I'm passionate about engineering and education. My journey began at the University of Florida, where I earned my Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering. During my time there, I discovered my love for teaching. As a Teaching Assistant for UF's Digital Logic & Computer Systems class, I had the privilege of helping students navigate through challenging concepts and develop a solid understanding of fundamental principles. Additionally, I served as a peer mentor, guiding and tutoring over 50 college students in Electrical and Computer Engineering, offering personalized support and advice tailored to their needs.

Beyond the university setting, I found fulfillment in mentoring high school students, teaching them how to build robots and code them. It was incredibly rewarding to see their enthusiasm grow as they delved deeper into the world of technology and problem-solving. My expertise spans a range of subjects, including Digital Logic, Computer Architecture, Microprocessors, and Computer Science principles like Data Structures and Algorithms. I'm proficient in programming languages such as C++, Java, and Python, and I'm always eager to share my knowledge with others.

Recognizing the importance of leadership in engineering, I pursued a certificate in Engineering Project Management from UF. I believe that effective leadership skills are essential for success in any field, and I'm committed to helping others develop these skills. Currently, I work as an Electrical Engineer for an Avionics company, but my passion for teaching still burns bright.

I see teaching as a way to ignite curiosity, foster growth, and inspire lifelong learning. Whether it's helping students excel academically, learn new skills, or pursue their passions, I'm dedicated to providing support and guidance every step of the way. Do not hesitate to reach out and inquire about lessons with me. Whether online or in person, I make sure to respond promptly and look forward to our future lessons together.

Amazing Tutor!

Quinlan was very knowledgeable in the unique concept of Mixed logic, something few schools seem to teach so many tutors don't know, and was able to walk me through the logic behind it. He also teaches the other concepts of digital logic well and can break down the questions with me. He is patient and always makes sure I understand the material before he moves on by asking follow-up questions. Highly recommend!
