Hi, I am Dr. Rob and I have been a science and math educator for over 20 years. I am a certified high school teacher and I have been a college professor for the past 15 years. I have a Ph.D. in Education with an emphasis in science education. I also have a Master's degree in secondary education, instructional technology, and biology. You can see that I love learning.

I am a former high school biology and math teacher but returned to college to get my doctorate. I wanted to learn more about how people learn and my last 14 years have been spent as a college professor. I am passionate about building your confidence because I believe that everyone can learn math and science, we just need to turn the right buttons in you. I just moved to a new state, so I am adapting, but the good news is my schedule is very flexible.

Most of my work is in training teachers to teach math & science, at all different levels, so I know lots of tricks. I have been working with students in K-20. I can tutor you in many areas but my favorite topics are biology, elementary/middle school science, and math through precalc. I can also help with study skills and college preparation.

Building relationships is an important part of learning with me as I want you to be successful. I love to use technology and find other ways to engage you in the content so you can make personal connections which will help you retain information better. Since I have been working training teachers, I have learned quite a bit about what works and what does not. I try different approaches and strategies until we find one that works for you.
