Anyone down for engineering?

You may call me Shameer. I am a recent graduate of the University of Florida having graduated cum laude with a dual degree in Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering. I have always carried a passion for engineering since middle school and have not strayed from that passion ever since. I respect the professors who have showed amazing patience and commitment to my success and I wish to provide an experience with my students in a similar learning environment. I have been helped by tutors, but I have also taught as a teacher/lab assistant in my school's thermodynamics lab, teaching students how to take apart diesel engines as well as perform engineering experiments. I am certified as an engineering intern by the Florida Board of Professional Engineers and I advise as to what to expect from the engineering program in college or the F.E. Exam.

A lot of the subjects I specialize in are related to math and science, specifically anything after calculus or physics. I was a math wizard in high school and I improved my physics learning in college, but a lot of GenED math and science courses are crucial for engineering as they form the basic building blocks for much harder concepts like linear algebra, statics, dynamics, fluid mechanics, mechanics of materials, etc. My method of teaching is more direct as I have worked this way with my peers. We will get right to the heart of the issue and address any and all questions in a timely manner.

In terms of communication, email is strongly preferred. Email me on subjects and topics you struggle with so that I can form my lesson around those areas. The more you communicate with me prior to our lesson, the more productive the lesson will be. Please give feedback or suggestions as to what I need to correct. The growth goes both ways!
