Each child learns differently. When I work with students I get them to understand the lesson by tying in their personal interests. For example, if your students is a sport fan i will create the lesson in a sport theme that will get the student involved in the learning.

When I first started teaching I was assigned ESE students. A big part of my students were ADHD. I like to get the students moving and create lessons that motivate them to want to learn.
