My diploma coursework focused on Biology, Chemistry and Physics, and each subject emphasized extensive scientific theory and reasoning, analytical thinking, and theoretical application skills. Course credits earned were equivalent to University Level Courses.
My teaching and tutoring experience includes working with elementary and middle school students one-on-one on science subjects through interactive activities and worksheets while I was in high school, I am currently a STEM Learning Assistant for Human Physiology. I have volunteered at a Brain Fair at a local school to introduce middle school students to foundational Neuroscience concepts to foster an interest in the field. Additionally, I have a multitude of leadership experience from being a part of the board of several organizations and clubs during school. I have also received my Competent Communicators' certification from the Gavel Club, an affiliate of Toastmasters.
