Although professors can be knowledgeable, it's easy to get caught up in all of the accounting terminology and new concepts. As your tutor, I want to help guide you through that jungle of information.
I earned my Bachelor's degree in accounting from Florida International University in 2022, where I went on to do bookkeeping for all types of clients, putting into practice all of the concepts currently in your textbook. In college, I have volunteer experience in teaching math and English to students with disabilities in my college's extracurricular program, along with teaching grade school students on my off time. I also have teaching experience in educating business owners on accounting fundamentals and journal entries so that they could do their own bookkeeping!
My learning methodology revolves around you: Knowing what you understand about the material so far, knowing what you don't understand, and finding the link that connects them through how you best learn. Are you a visual learner? Do you need difficult concepts to be explained in laymen's terms? Do you prefer real world examples when being introduced to a new idea? I'll help you through any learning needs you require!
