This past year most of the students I taught and tutored were between the ages of 14 and 17. I taught around 180 students in the classroom of which 105 had to take the Biology EOC which is Florida's statewide standardized science assessment. Ultimately, the majority of my students were able to pass the exam with little to no complications. As for my tutoring experience, most of it is from one on one an volunteer experience. From my tutoring experience I always notice a major increase in content understanding from only one initial session. This trend usually continues at an exponential rate after every session thereafter, leading to the student raising their class grade, increasing test performance and ultimately passing their class.
