Although my schooling is providing me with technical skills, I have learned more from being with children in school and camp settings.
I love working with children because I can be a mentor as well as a student! Children offer such a different view on the world than adults and I enjoy seeing life through their eyes. Using games and fun activities, I can make learning something to be excited about and not just something you need!
During high school I excelled in calculus and was placed, and finished, an advanced placement level calculus course. Not only did I succeed in this course, but I loved learning it!
Not only do I enjoy public speaking, but I study the technical aspects of speech and communication in my graduate program.
I have always worked with this age group and have experience from simple play and camp environments to school and classroom time!
