Hi! My name is Neel, and I tutor students in SAT prep as well as AP-level subjects, especially math, economics, statistics, and English. I like working with students one-on-one to make difficult topics feel more manageable and to help them build both confidence and better problem-solving habits.
I have substantial experience teaching and mentoring students in academic settings. I have served as a teaching assistant at the Florida International University, where I have accumulated hundreds of hours of experience helping students with coursework and challenging concepts. Outside the classroom, I have also led educational programs and worked with students through organizations and projects I have helped build, which has given me experience communicating with students with very different learning styles and levels of experience.
I’m currently a student at the University of Florida studying Economics, and I scored a 1540 on the SAT. In high school, I took around 13 AP classes and earned 5s on AP Calculus BC, AP Statistics, AP Macroeconomics, AP English Language, AP English Literature, AP Precalculus, and many more. Because I went through these classes and the SAT fairly recently, I’m familiar with both the content and the pressure that comes with preparing for major exams.
Additionally, I have taken several courses where proficiency with tools like the Desmos calculator and TI-Nspire was essential. Through that experience, I developed a strong understanding of how to use both calculators efficiently for graphing, solving equations, analyzing functions, working with statistics, and checking answers. Undoutedbly, I can help you get that 1400+ or even 1500+ score that you're looking for!
