I am a dedicated nursing professional with a strong academic foundation and a passion for helping students succeed in nursing school and on the NCLEX. My educational background includes advanced nursing training with concentrated study in anatomy and physiology, pathophysiology, nursing fundamentals, medical-surgical nursing, pharmacology, and mental health. Through both academic preparation and clinical experience, I developed a solid understanding of disease processes, medication mechanisms of action, contraindications, and clinical judgment. I use this foundation to help students connect core science concepts to real-world nursing practice, which strengthens both classroom performance and exam readiness.
I have experience working one-on-one with nursing students at various stages of their programs, including pre-nursing coursework, foundational classes, and final-semester NCLEX preparation. My teaching approach is structured, supportive, and focused on clinical reasoning. Rather than encouraging memorization alone, I help students understand the “why” behind anatomy, pathophysiology changes, and nursing interventions. I have worked with traditional undergraduate students and adult learners returning to school, primarily in individualized virtual tutoring settings. Many of the students I support initially feel overwhelmed by the volume and depth of nursing content. My goal is to provide clarity, structure, and encouragement while building critical thinking skills that extend beyond a single exam. I am committed to creating a focused and positive learning environment where students gain confidence, improve performance, and develop the competence needed for long-term success in nursing.
