Bio

I began tutoring in 11th grade, starting with Geometry, and quickly discovered how much I love helping students grow and achieve their goals. Since then, I have worked with a wide range of learners, including two 5th-grade students in math and science, a 9th grader in Algebra and autistic triplets whom I supported with academic and developmental skills. These one-on-one experiences have strengthened my ability to adapt to each child’s learning style, provide patience and structure and create a supportive environment where students feel confident.

I hold a bachelor’s degree in Sociology, and I am currently pursuing my graduate degree in Mental Health Counseling at Capella University. My educational background has deepened my understanding of learning, development, communication and individualized support. I genuinely love kids, I love learning, and I am passionate about helping students strengthen their skills and believe in themselves.

Approved Subjects

Elementary Math

Elementary Math

Math has always been my favorite subject, and that passion naturally led me into tutoring. I’ve helped students at multiple levels, including 5th grade math, high school Geometry and Algebra, and I’ve seen them grow from struggling to confident and capable. My approach focuses on breaking concepts down clearly and supporting each student at their pace. The students I’ve worked with have shown strong improvement, and I love watching their confidence and skills soar.
Elementary Science

Elementary Science

I love helping young learners discover how fun and understandable science can be. I’ve tutored elementary students in topics like life science and earth science, using simple experiments, real-world examples and clear explanations to make concepts “click.” My experience working with autistic children has strengthened my ability to break down complex ideas and adapt lessons for different learning styles. With a bachelor’s degree in Sociology and current graduate studies in Mental Health Counseling, I bring patience, creativity and structure to every science session.
Spelling

Spelling

I’ve always had a natural skill for spelling, ever since I was the student who consistently won the spelling bees in my third- and fourth-grade classes, and even in front of the whole school. Spelling quickly became a source of pride for me, and I loved the challenge of mastering new words. Over the years, that early enthusiasm developed into strong language skills and a deep understanding of word patterns and rules. Now, I enjoy helping students build confidence in their spelling and develop the same excitement for words that I’ve always had.
Writing

Writing

I have strong writing experience across academic, professional and creative settings. I’ve written extensively in college, including research papers, analytical essays and sociological writing that required clear structure, strong argumentation and detailed sourcing. I’ve also written professionally, producing profiles, reports and polished communication for offices and organizations. In addition, I’ve been writing personally for years; poetry, creative pieces and reflective work.
