I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Florida International University and scored a 518 on the MCAT, placing in the 95th percentile nationally. Achieving this score played a key role in my acceptance into multiple medical schools and reflects a strong command of both the scientific content and reasoning skills required for success on the exam. My academic background in psychology and the sciences, combined with clinical experience as a medical assistant and emergency department scribe, allows me to connect MCAT concepts to real medical thinking and application.
I have extensive and diverse tutoring experience, having worked with The Sunshine Method as well as providing private one-on-one tutoring. I have tutored multiple students specifically for the MCAT and have also taught students ranging from middle school through college, including premedical students preparing for high-stakes exams. Most of my tutoring has taken place in individualized, one-on-one settings, where I tailor sessions to a student’s strengths and areas for growth. I emphasize building a strong conceptual framework and reinforcing it through critical reasoning and problem-solving rather than memorization.
In addition to content instruction, I mentor students in how to study effectively for demanding exams like the MCAT. I help students design realistic study schedules, develop productive habits, and build the discipline and mindset needed for sustained progress. My goal is to provide structure, guidance, and accountability so students can prepare with clarity, confidence, and consistency throughout the MCAT process.
