I'm Laura! I am a graduate of Georgetown University. I am a Certified Nurse Midwife and Women's Health Nurse Practitioner. Best Maternal-Health Nursing Tutor!
Laura is very knowledgeable and passionate about maternal health nursing and makes sure nursing students succeed! We reviewed antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and newborn lecture materials. During our sessions, we discussed and created exam-style questions that covered nursing prioritization and interventions I would most likely be tested on. My maternal health nursing class required a 77% exam average to pass, which made the course very diffcult; however, with Laura's help and thoroughness, I saw my grades increase with each exam. I would highly recommend Laura as a tutor!

Laura was able to help me understand the content I am reviewing in a more simplistic manner to help me understand everything better. She was able to give me little tips of information on something I would definitely need to know when I take the NCLEX which was super helpful! She always asked if I understood everything we went over and made sure I was understanding the concepts she was lecturing before she went to a new topic. I would definitely recommend Laura to anyone studying nursing or anything within the field, and would use her again!!

Amazing OB/Maternal health tutor
Laura is the best! I was struggling in my OB class learning about different types of decelerations of a FHR and what’s abnormal for fetal monitoring. She was so helpful in explaining everything and used pictures and mnemonics to describe the differences for each. I can’t wait to meet with her again to help prep me for my OB exam coming up.
