I spent two years at the Gray Fossil Site and Museum as Graduate Assistant where my tasks were equal parts education and research. Working at the museum gave me experience with teaching students of all ages in a way that is both engaging and informative. I think students learn best when they have one-on-one interaction and I want to help address that aspect of education that is missing in the classroom. I'm excited to spread my knowledge of biology, anatomy, reading and writing to more students!

I graduated from East Tennessee State University with a Master's in Geosciences with a concentration in Paleontology. My time at ETSU, along with my two years of work at the Gray Fossil Site and Museum have given me invaluable experiences with vertebrate anatomy and zoology, paleontology adjacent subjects such as archaeology and geology, and reading and writing of all kinds.

My work under the education coordinator at the Gray Fossil Site and Museum gave me the kind of experience necessary to tutor students of all ages and levels. Before I graduated from ETSU, I was the museums go to tour guide from college level groups and I'm confident that I can become your go to tutor.
