As a middle and high school physics and chemistry teacher, I enjoy working through the tough questions with my students and helping them gain confidence in any area. I have over 15 years of tutoring experience, and enjoy working with students with learning disabilities, ADHD, or Autism. Hello! I'm Rachael. I am a 6th year STEAM teacher with a wide range of subject expertise. As a middle and high school physics and chemistry teacher, I enjoy working through the tough questions with my students and helping them gain confidence in any area. I have over 15 years of tutoring experience, and enjoy working with students with learning disabilities, ADHD, or Autism. I am the first to admit when I mess up, and will always say "I'm not sure about this, let's work through it together." That being said, when it comes to Art, Math, English, and Science, I know my stuff!

I scored a perfect 800 on the SAT math section, and did well on AP and IB exams. I will always make sure my students can explain to me HOW they used the method they did and WHY it was effective in leading them to the correct answer- no mindless repetition! Mistakes are learning opportunities, and everyone can learn math with patience and an open mind.

This is a new approach to tutoring for our twin 15-year-old girls. Rachel is a perfect fit. Not too old yet mature and relatable as an adult. She handles biology for one twin and math for the other.
