My name is Cassandra, and I am an ESL/EFL educator. I’ve taught English as a foreign and second language for 5 years. I greatly enjoy meeting new people and learning about their culture. This is the greatest reason I travel abroad whenever I get the chance. I care deeply about my students and tailor lessons specific to their needs. I’m a patient and understanding educator who expects my students to study and perform at their best every day. More than most of my former students appreciate the educational services I’ve rendered, and still keep in touch with me on a regular basis. Many of my former students have received promotions or admission into universities after completing my class. My former students are South Korean, Japanese, Swiss, Italian, French, German, Czech, Brazilian, Colombian, Slovak, Russian, Ukrainian, Ecuadorian, Cuban, Saudi, Angolan, and Chinese. I’m great at what I do, and I have many students from around the world who can testify to that. I look forward to being your tutor.
I hope the best in your language learning endeavors!

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I'm well-versed in teaching elementary aged students. I have international experience in teaching elementary students. I'm TESOL certified to teach EAP (English for Academic Purposes) which means that I must be knowledgeable in all academic subjects.
I've received a TESOL certificate from Anaheim University.
I currently tutor at Northwood University where I teach TOEFL/IELTS testing strategies. I'm currently enrolled at Nova Southeastern University where I'm pursuing a Masters degree in TESOL; I will complete the program in March of 2015. In addition to the aforementioned, I currently hold a TESOL certificate from Anaheim University.
