I am a fourth-year medical student currently completing my MD training, with an academic background in biology and comprehensive clinical training across all core clerkships. Throughout medical school, I have taken and passed multiple NBME-style examinations, including all core clinical shelf exams as well as USMLE-focused assessments. This experience has given me a strong understanding of how shelf exams and Step 2 CK are structured and how to study for them efficiently. I am comfortable tutoring students preparing for all shelf exams, as well as USMLE Step 2 CK.

I have experience teaching and tutoring in one-on-one settings, including peer tutoring, small-group review sessions, and individualized exam preparation. My teaching style focuses on active learning and clinical reasoning rather than passive memorization. Sessions typically involve working through UWorld and NBME-style questions together, identifying common testing patterns, clarifying high-yield concepts, and addressing areas of weakness. I emphasize understanding why an answer is correct or incorrect so students can apply the same reasoning across different question styles and clinical scenarios.

In addition to exam preparation, I also work with students on medical school applications, including personal statements and overall application strategy. Having personally navigated the medical school admissions process, I understand how to clearly communicate motivation for medicine, frame experiences effectively, and address potential weaknesses in an application. I enjoy working with students at different stages of training and tailor each session to the student’s goals, timeline, and learning style, with the aim of helping them feel more confident, organized, and prepared.
